The Joanna School of Dance

is a well-established business, family-run for over 35 years, with excellent ISTD, ABRSM/LAMDA & Acrobatic teachers. We are all committed to offering a warm and friendly school and lasting friendships.

Over the years we have worked with and made many friends in the Theatre World. Some of our teachers work professionally throughout the year as choreographers, dancers, and singers, bringing back new ideas for the school and keeping up with what is new.

The school has an extremely high standard, and our pupils achieve excellent exam results. Our pupils’ friendship and team spirit within their group enable them to enjoy entering dance festivals whilst understanding healthy competition.

Whether your child comes to us just for fun or training for the future, we hope they will have a wonderful experience and enjoy their time with us.

We also offer ‘blended’ learning for all classes for students that are unable to attend their classes in the studio.

As well as all genres in Dance we also offer Singing, Piano, Music Theory, LAMDA & Acrobatic Classes

Never miss a chance to dance

Does your little one love to sing and dance?

Does he or she clap hands and move to the rhythm?

The Joanna School of Dance has classes that your child could come along to and develop those musical and dancing skills, building confidence and expression. We take children from 2 years old.

The classes are taught by ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) Qualified Teachers and each class has an assistant as well as the teacher. The classes are kept small to enable the teacher to get the very best from each pupil.

These are really popular classes for this age group and a great way to learn about the wonderful world of dance, whilst still having lots of fun.
